Daniel Prude died in police custody after being detained for running around the streets naked while he was high on PCP.
“Who is Daniel Prude?
Prude — who was discovered running around the city streets naked and reportedly high on PCP in March — died following the detainment by Rochester police. Authorities placed a spit hood on Prude during the arrest, and reportedly pressed his face into the pavement.
His family is now calling for the officers involved in Prude’s arrest to be charged with murder.
An autopsy report from the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Prude died as a result of “complications of asphyxia in the setting of physical restraint due to excited delirium due to acute phencyclidine intoxication,” which is “an indication that Prude might have been high on PCP.”
As of Thursday, seven officers involved in Prude’s detainment were suspended pending an investigation into the matter.”
In true liberal fashion, they use his death as an excuse to burn the country down. They disparage and defund the police in the name of social justice. This does not affect them because the majority of people calling to defund the police are millionaires with private security. The city councils where they live would never vote to defund the police because they know that is the only thing between them and the mobs.
Portland tonight? Nope. Rochester, NY. @elaadeliahu is out covering the BLM-antifa mass gathering. It has been violent there in the past few days and that’s likely to continue. They crowdfund to buy riot gear. #AntifaRiots #BLM pic.twitter.com/4rAHQOrtiU

Regular people like us need to the police to have what they need to do their job. We need them to have the best training, and they need to have our support. Increasing hours and lowering wages doesn’t show support.
This is why after the violent riots in Rochester, New York, over the weekend, the top command of the Rochester Police Department retired.
Journalist Paul McLeod Tweeted:
“Whoa. After days of protests in Rochester over the killing of Daniel Prude, Mayor Lovely Warren just announced the entire Rochester police department command staff, including the chief of police, is resigning.
Asked during a city council meeting who will be in charge during tonight’s protests, the Mayor said she doesn’t know. “We would have to find an interim chief,” says Warren says. “Because I just got the call before this hearing, I don’t know.”
The Democrat and Chronicle is reporting that both the Rochester Police Chief and the Deputy Police Chief put in for their retirement today.
La’Ron Singletary, 40, became the chief of the Rochester Police Department in 2019. The report says that Singletary is from Rochester and has worked for the Rochester Police Department for 20 years.
Deputy Chief Joseph Morabito, who also put in his retirement today, served the department for 34 years.
After Daniel Prude’s death became a big story on the national news, several activists called for Singletary to resign.
Y’all, the Singletary is BLACK!! Wasn’t the big push a couple of years ago to have more people of color patrolling the streets and in positions of power within the police departments?
This is the second black chief of police that rioters have successfully forced out of their power positions all in the name of social justice for BLACK people.
The Democrat and Chronicle: “No successor was immediately announced.”
Good luck, people of Rochester, New York. Tonight is probably going to be a tough night for y’all. I will be praying for everyone.
It would be a good idea for the Mayor to call the President for help on this one. We all know inept Governor Cuomo isn’t going to do anything to help them. He is too busy plugging his book and blaming his coronavirus failings on Donald Trump.
Whoa. After days of protests in Rochester over the killing of Daniel Prude, mayor Lovely Warren just announced entire Rochester police department command staff, including the chief of police, is resigning.
