Joe Biden does not understand how government checks are issued. He apparently thinks the president of the United States personally signs all government checks.
That’s one of the top presidential responsibilities you see. Check-signing. I’d like to see Joe Biden’s signature so we can see if he is up for the job.

We need to get direct cash relief payments out to as many as possible, as quickly as possible.
Again, this may sound straightforward. No American should have to wait a single minute so Donald Trump can put his signature on a physical check. It isn’t about him.
Doesn’t Biden realize the checks are printed with the signature on them? No one is personally signing them. And, by the way, the signature on government checks is not the president’s (although there are some media reports that the president allegedly wants his name printed on the check–anonymous source, of course).
Biden frequently seems stuck in the past. Remember when he told parents to “make sure you have the record player on at night”? Biden is not poised to lead in the 21st century. Period.
I’m sure most Americans agree with Biden that people should not have to wait until August for their check. August is completely ridiculous. But, if a taxpayer did not get a direct deposit on their 2018 or 2019 tax return, how can the federal government send an electronic payment? We need to go into overtime printing checks or order more printers. August will be four months too late.
