Biden Awkwardly Walks Off Screen During “Virtual Town Hall”

OPINION | This article contains political commentary which reflects the author's opinion.

Since basically all public events are being canceled thanks to coronavirus, Joe Biden and his team thought it would be a good idea to hold a ‘virtual town hall.’

It wasn’t.

First, the town hall had some technical difficulties.  Then, it had Joe Biden.

You guys, I think he forgot he was on camera and wandered off.  He started treating the town hall like he was on a phone call.

His team’s response?  Just slap a logo up there so no one can see him facing the wrong direction!

Also, what is going on with his left eye?

Then, of course, we get to the actual words coming out of Joe’s mouth.  And it takes him FOUR tries to figure out when he will enter office if he wins the 2020 election:

Two years?  A year?  November?  January?

At this point, I’m not convinced Joe knows what he’s running for or when the election is.  How does anyone think this man could run the country?

Honestly, the smartest option for Biden’s campaign at this point would be to use the coronavirus as an excuse to cancel all of his public appearances, virtual or otherwise.  It’s much harder to make gaffes like this if you’re just sitting quietly at home.
