Transgender Woman Allowed In Women’s U.S. Olympic Trials

So, this trend is continuing.  When will the tide turn against this injustice and insanity?

A transgender woman (i.e. biological man) is being allowed to compete in the women’s USA Olympic trials in February.

The Daily Caller is reporting that Megan Youngren will be competing in the marathon event.  Megan, who is 28, finalized her documentation for her transition in 2019.

Sports Illustrated gushed that Megan, “is set to make history on Feb. 29 as the first openly transgender athlete to compete at the U.S. Olympic marathon trials.”

“People will try to put it down by saying, ‘That’s too easy because you’re trans.’ But what about the 500 other women who will qualify?” Youngren told the magazine. “There’s probably someone with the exact same story.”

“I trained hard. I got lucky. I dodged injuries,” Youngren added. “I raced a lot, and it worked out for me. That’s the story for a lot of other people, too.”

The International Olympic Committee allows transgender women athletes to complete if their testosterone is below 10 nanomoles per liter.  Youngren’s levels are at 2 nanomoles.

Well, I’ll be rooting against Megan qualifying for Tokyo.  It is simply unfair to all the biological women who have trained and are competing.  All those who celebrate this are essentially celebrating cheating.
