Yesterday, I told you that Iran admitted it shot down a Ukrainian passenger plane after it took off from Tehran, killing 176 people.
Now, hundreds of protesters have taken to the streets in Iran, calling for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to step down.
President Trump took to Twitter, of course, and tweeted his support for the Iranian people – in their native Farsi.
In English, the tweet reads:
“To the brave and suffering Iranian people: I have stood with you since the beginning of my presidency and my government will continue to stand with you. We are following your protests closely. Your courage is inspiring.”
President Trump’s tweet quickly became the most liked Persian tweet in Twitter’s history.
Nope, MSM won’t talk about this. Because they don’t actually care about the Iranian people. They just want to see Trump fail.
It’s nice to see support for Trump’s foreign policy from the people it’s affecting every day. If only more Americans could see that.
