Something’s up with dogs lately. If you don’t take Fido for his walkies on time, he might just grab his own leash…and your keys.
Just one week ago, Liberty told you about an unusual incident in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Max, a black Lab, knocked his owner’s car into reverse and drove around in circles. For an hour. An hour!
Now, a five-pound Chihuaha in Slidell, Louisiana was left inside a SUV while its owner was at a gas station. The pooch knocked the vehicle into reverse and rolled across a busy four-lane highway.
‼️We Can’t Make This Stuff Up‼️
A couple was pumping gas at a gas station on Gause Blvd. A 5 pound chihuahua somehow put the vehicle in reverse. The SUV, rolled backwards, crossed over a 4 lane road and came to rest at the gas station across the street. Only minor injuries. pic.twitter.com/msfrC5mApB

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in either incident.
But…can we not set parking brakes, people! Come on!
And what’s the deal with these pups? The reports make it seem as if these incidents were accidental. Like it’s all a big coincidence.
We’ll see. Next week, my cat, Blackjack, will probably steal a motorcycle. And my squirrel, Bilbo, will abscond with my minivan to make a midnight pecan run.
Don’t laugh. It could happen.
