Check Out San Francisco’s New Greta Thunberg Mural

Erin Evans

San Francisco has a new giant mural on the side of a building.  The subject?  Climate “activist” Greta Thunberg, of course.

Is it just me, or is this really creepy?

Let’s take a closer look:

It’s creepy, right?

The mural is still in progress.  The artist, Andre “Cobre” Petreselli, is apparently painting Greta with “big blue eyes and a Mona Lisa smile.”

Personally, I don’t see the “Mona Lisa smile.”  It just looks like Greta’s normal facial expressions.  That’s not an insult, just my opinion

Cobre is donating his time to the project and the spray paint was provided by the environmental nonprofit One Atmosphere.  Please read that sentence again and note that this nod to environmental activism is done with SPRAY PAINT, that aerosol environmental blight.  Irony much?

But don’t worry, if it increases awareness, it’ll all be worth it, right?
