Are You As Enraged About the Amy Robach Story As I Am?

The more I think about it, the more rage-y I get.  By now, y’all have probably seen the latest Project Veritas bombshell:

So yeah.  Amy Robach was caught on a hot mic saying that THREE YEARS AGO (riiiiiiiight during the last election, in other words), she had all the details about Epstein – photos, documents, testimony etc. etc., and ABC didn’t run her story.

That’s bad enough as it is, but you guys, she’s a MOM OF DAUGHTERS.  And instead of being angry about Epstein’s victims, she’s more irritated that she didn’t get credit for being the first to scoop the Big Story.

Not only that, but remember, she’s the one who did a sit down interview with Hillary Clinton last month and listened as Hillary told her that her “gutsiest” act was STAYING WITH HER HUSBAND.

And now?  ABC and Amy Robach are explaining away their actions like this:

ABC News: “At the time, not all of our reporting met our standards to air, but we have never stopped investigating the story. Ever since we’ve had a team on this investigation and substantial resources dedicated to it. That work has led to a two-hour documentary and six-part podcast that will air in the new year.”

Robach: “As a journalist, as the Epstein story continued to unfold last summer, I was caught in a private moment of frustration,” she said. “I was upset that an important interview I had conducted with Virginia Roberts didn’t air because we could not obtain sufficient corroborating evidence to meet ABC’s editorial standards about her allegations. My comments about Prince Andrew and her allegation that she had seen Bill Clinton on Epstein’s private island were in reference to what Virginia Roberts said in that interview in 2015. I was referencing her allegations — not what ABC News had verified through our reporting.”

Robach continued: “The interview itself, while I was disappointed it didn’t air, didn’t meet our standards. In the years since no one ever told me or the team to stop reporting on Jeffrey Epstein, and we have continued to aggressively pursue this important story.”

Really? So what exactly ARE the standards that her interview didn’t meet? Because as I recall, ABC was one of many networks happy to jump aboard the Kavanaugh accuser train, sharing utterly preposterous claims from various skanks and using old yearbook quotes as a basis of evidence that he wasn’t fit to serve on the Supreme Court. And now they claim to be worried about standards???

The standard that Robach’s interview didn’t meet is the standard of not helping Hillary Clinton win the presidency. That’s the standard it failed to meet. And guess what? Networks are totally ignoring this story EVEN NOW, in light of this bombshell video from Project Veritas.

This is all absolutely vile in every way.  I get that Amy Robach wants to keep her job, but the fact that she sat on this and is only pissed off that she didn’t get credit for her scoop instead of being pissed on the behalf of victims shows you how off the rails “journalists” have become.
