The 2020 presidential candidates are all trying to sell swag to support their campaigns. Over the last few months, many candidates have released new t-shirts, in an attempt to be unique and woke. The results are pretty lackluster.
First, there’s Kamala Harris’s t-shirt, which shows a picture of her as a child. Called “That Little Girl Was Me,” this shirt was released in response to exchange with Joe Biden over forced bussing during the first Democratic debate.
Then there’s Beto O’Rourke’s “This Is F*cked Up” t-shirt, sold in conjunction with Moms Demand Action and March For Our Lives, referencing the phrase Beto used to describe the mass shooting in West Texas at the end of August. Beto’s so cool, he uses curse words on TV.
Joe Biden is selling shirts proclaiming “Beat Him Like a Drum.” Following the whistleblower allegations against Donald Trump in September, Biden said “Trump’s doing this because he knows I will beat him like a drum and is using the abuse of power and every element of the presidency to try and smear.”
Now, President Trump is getting in on the t-shirt action, and totally winning the game:
Trump is sending a clear message to the Democrats and the media, and anyone else who still can’t accept the results of the last election: Get Over It.
I love Trump’s hair over the “O”. I’m not generally into campaign swag, but I might actually wear this shirt.
What do you think of all the campaign t-shirts?
