There’s a new book out about the Parkland shooting that claimed the lives of 17 innocent people in February of 2018. It’s called Why Meadow Died, and it’s co-authored by the father of one of the victims, Andrew Pollack, and a friend of ours, Max Eden, who currently works as an educational researcher and journalist. It’s a must-read, y’all.
We spoke to Max about the book on our show, and you should absolutely give the interview a listen right here. But additionally, you should read the excerpt from the book that’s currently published at the New York Post, which includes absolutely horrifying details about how this murder spree could have been prevented and wasn’t.
It’s all just so frustrating. In our interview with Max, he talks about the importance of making sure parents are talking to teachers and administrators about the findings in the book, and how administrative policies at their kids’ schools are similar/different.
The book should be required reading, frankly. Get yours right here.
