Southbend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg recently defined life as beginning when the baby “draws its first breath.”
Buttigieg suggests we determine life when the baby draws its first breath.
A 2020 presidential candidate is suggesting babies can be killed up UNTIL a baby draws its first breath.

“Right now, [conservatives] hold everybody in line with this one, kind of, piece of doctrine about abortion, which is obviously a tough issue for a lot of people to think through morally. Then again, there’s a lot of parts of the Bible that talk about how life begins with breath. So even that is something we can interpret differently.”
QUESTION: if you have a water birth, can you abort a baby that just hasn’t been pulled out of the water then? Because this definition certainly excuses that.
Frustratingly, the mayor invoked Biblical scripture to defend his immoral claims. (He does that a lot. It’s his shick. He “sticks it” to the right by invoking the Bible to argue against them. It’s trollery.)
Evangelical pastor Rhyan Glezman responded by absolutely SHREDDING him.
The best part? he’s his brother-in-law.
According to Daily Wire:
During an interview with The Washington Examiner on Friday, Glezman called on Buttigieg, whom he blasted as a “hypocrite” and a “modern day pharisee,” to repent.
“If we’re going to say we’re for all people and we love all people, but we don’t value human life in the womb, that’s being a hypocrite. You’re hypocritical if you don’t stand up for all life. So that’s why I’m speaking out,” said Glezman, who is the older brother of Buttigieg’s husband, Chasten Buttigieg.
“This isn’t a little issue, especially when we’re talking about life,” the pastor continued. “This is not just a political conversation. We’re talking about human life. These are human beings.”
YES. How has one political party become the party of murdering babies? It’s beyond comprehension.
“Glezman maintains that his brother-in-law has ‘manipulated’ and ‘weaponized’ the Bible to appeal to a wider demographic of liberal Democrats, which makes him ‘a false teacher,’ as far [Glezman is] concerned,” the Examiner reported.
“What we see is a modern-day Pharisee,” Glezman blasted. “Buttigieg is a person who’s making up their own rules and regulations and, basically, if we don’t celebrate and endorse their interpretation of Scripture, our religion is fallible. And that’s just not true.”
Christmas just got a little awkward, didn’t it?
