Cory Booker Thinks Securing Our Border Is Like Rejecting Jews Fleeing The Holocaust

Ashley (Kimber)

Cory Booker is TRAILING in the polls, so I suppose he had to pull something ridiculous out of his cap to get people to pay attention to him.

…and here we are, talking about him. So I guess it worked, in a way.

I doubt, however, this is the reaction he was going for. Because I am full on DISGUSTED.

Lil’ Spartacus told a crowd of people in Iowa that spending money on border security is basically like rejecting Jewish refugees during the Holocaust.

Nice one, Booker.

According to Daily Wire:

Booker made the comments in Iowa while appearing on the Political Party Live podcast on Saturday where he spoke on a wide variety of issues.

“Do you know how much billions of dollars we’ve done to increase the numbers of Customs and Border Patrol agents, of people involved in immigration…” Booker began.

It’s a small fraction of the billions of dollars we spend on illegal immigrants once they get here, Cory. I know that.

Booker continued by saying that it was important to know history and that President Donald Trump was trying to make people afraid of people coming across the southern border who have “brown skin.”

“As much as he wants to make us afraid of people trying to come here escaping terror, not remembering like when we turned around other immigrants trying to escape terror,” Booker continued. “There was a ship that came here during World War II with a bunch of folks trying to escape the Holocaust and we turned it around where they got killed in the Holocaust.”

If South and Central American migrants were coming here to escape “terror,” they’d take Mexico’s offer to request asylum there.

They’ve repeatedly refused it, opting instead to continue on to America.

Migrants who come here from Central and South America are, for the most part, looking for economic opportunity.

To equate people trying to escape being systematically executed in concentration camps to those skipping the immigration line in order to find a more lucrative job isn’t just disingenuous. It’s repulsive.

But what is he talking about? With Jews being rejected during the Holocaust?

Yes, it did happen:

Under a Democrat.
