One of the million and a half Democrats running for President had the balls to tell the truth when it comes to the “Medicare for All” pipe dream.
He got viciously booed for it.
Presidential candidate John Delaney booed at CA Dem convention for saying: "Medicare for all may sound good but it's actually not good policy nor is it good politics." pic.twitter.com/aWwdeHM8nH

They literally can’t handle the truth at this point. It’s kind of sad.
Anyway – because she literally doesn’t know how to stay out of drama (in fact, she thrives on it. It’s all she’s got.) AOC tweeted this:
Since there’s so many people running for President (& not enough for Senate), instead of obsessing over who‘s a “frontrunner,” maybe we can start w some general eliminations.
This awful, untrue line got boo’ed for a full minute.
John Delaney, thank you but please sashay away 👋🏽 https://t.co/0RDOwbfcgv

I often have to remind myself that this woman is nearly 30, and not 14.
“Sashay Away,” for the record, is a reference to ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ a competition show featuring gay men dressing and competing in drag, as a clever “look how cool I am with the LGBT community” wink. She’s so hip, that one.
Delaney had the dignity to remind Alexandria that they’re at least supposed to pretend to be adults:
Hey @AOC, we have the same goal, universal healthcare for everyone, we just have different ways of getting there. Healthcare is the #1 issue for voters, so let’s debate the way forward. Any show of your choosing. Healthcare is too important for tweets, we need real discussion. https://t.co/LDrWa9sZQD

“Hey @AOC, we have the same goal, universal healthcare for everyone, we just have different ways of getting there. Healthcare is the #1 issue for voters, so let’s debate the way forward. Any show of your choosing. Healthcare is too important for tweets, we need real discussion.”
And while Delaney kept it incredibly classy, his press secretary absolutely demolished her.
According to the Daily Caller:
Delaney’s national press secretary, Michael Starr Hopkins, issued a statement Monday saying, in part, “The only person Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez helped with her tweet about Congressman Delaney was Donald Trump. If Democrats are serious about beating the [p]resident at the ballot box, we need less political grandstanding and more truth-telling from the Bernie wing of the party.”
He’s entirely right. Democrats have no actual message other than “FREE STUFF FOR EVERYONE!” and “TRUMP SUX.”
But please, keep it up, Ocasio Cortez. You’re just proving our point.
At this point, the Democrats should really hope AOC is the one who “sashays away.”
