According to this, it came as a bit of a surprise to President Trump that Meghan Markle thinks he’s misogynistic and divisive (her comments about him were made shortly after he was elected in 2016, apparently.)
His response? “I didn’t know she was nasty.”
I have a love/hate thing going with Meghan Markle. There’s part of me that loves following her – she’s absolutely beautiful and it’s been fun to watch the royal wedding and the royal pregnancy and now the royal baby-having. But I’ve also wanted to pull her hand away from her pregnant belly because her obsession with rubbing it was out of control. And I also feel like she’s turning the once-wild Prince Harry into a total manlet. Her feministing is irritating AF.
Meghan won’t be joining her husband as he meets Trump with Prince William and the Queen this week as Trump visits the UK. But beyond the “nasty” comment, Trump was light on criticism of her, actually saying that she’d make a “very good American princess” and wishing for her success.
You know who WILL be showing up to welcome Trump to London? The Trump baby blimp and thousands of protesters.
Hundreds of thousands, even. According to that sourcelink, they plan to “paralyze” London with mass demonstrations during his visit. That’s gonna require 20,000 cops to be posted at 20 different events, costing the country millions of dollars. Two larger organizations – Stand Up To Trump and Stop Trump – are behind the protest, and they’re calling it a “carnival of resistance.”
In other words, there are just as many leftist lunatics in the UK as there are here in the states. Resisters are idiots. It’s why I insta-block anyone on Twitter who shows up in our mentions and has the hashtag #resist in their bio. Ain’t nobody got time for that kind of crazy.
One of the spokespeople for Stand Up To Trump said that they plan to bring London to a standstill, so that by the time Trump left, “…he will know, and the world will know, that people here reject him and his toxic policies.”
(Insert 145,525,347,981 eyerolls here.)
And of course, no Trump protest would be complete in London without that hilariously underwhelming baby blimp. But this time? There’s also going to be a 16 foot talking robot version of Trump sitting on a golden toilet, which apparently has been shipped over to the UK from China. It shows Trump with his pants around his ankles, tweeting, and has fart sounds to accompany recorded soundbites of Trump saying, “No collusion,” “You are fake news,” and “I’m a very stable genius.”
Leave it to the Left to class things up, amirite?
Anyway, Meghan is nasty, the Trump baby blimp is making a comeback, and there’s a new farting Trump robot.
Consider yourselves appropriately caught up.
