WATCH: Nancy Pelosi says President Trump is engaged in a cover-up
At this point, Pelosi and Trump don’t seem to be on speaking terms. She accused Trump of engaging in a cover-up (which is an extremely serious accusation) ahead of a bipartisan meeting on infrastructure.
“We do believe that it’s important to follow the facts. We believe that no one is above the law, including the president of the United States. And we believe the president of the United States is engaged in a cover up,” she said prior to the meeting.

Trump confronted Pelosi and told her they couldn’t negotiate under those circumstances.
“Instead of walking in happily into a meeting, I walk in to look at people that have just said that I was doing a cover up. I don’t do cover-ups,” Trump said in the Rose Garden.
After Trump confronted Pelosi, Kellyanne asked her if she had a “direct response to the president,” and Pelosi sassed her.
“I’m responding to the president, not staff,” Pelosi said.
“Really great. That’s really pro-woman of you,” Conway shot back.
It appears Pelosi is still competing for first place in the petty Olympics.
When the “extremely stable genius” starts acting more presidential, I’ll be happy to work with him on infrastructure, trade and other issues. https://t.co/tfWVkj9CLT

Pelosi’s acting like she’s the one who told Trump what’s what, which is cute because that’s exactly the opposite of what actually happened. Trump told HER to cut the crap and left. Not vice versa.
