Sen. Elizabeth Warren recently bragged about her decision to decline a town hall on Fox News.

“I love town halls. I’ve done more than 70 since January, and I’m glad to have a television audience be a part of them,” she tweeted. “Fox News has invited me to do a town hall, but I’m turning them down—here’s why…”

She  described Fox as a “hate-for-profit racket” that “gives a megaphone to racists and conspiracists.”

“…it’s designed to turn us against each other, risking life and death consequences, to provide cover for the corruption that’s rotting our government and hollowing out our middle class.” she continued.

To be fair, a few Democrats have participated in Fox town halls (Bernie and Pete, for example). However, what of those who refuse? How are Democrats handling that?

Surprisingly enough, Don Lemon doesn’t agree with their decision. He actually said they’re repeating Hillary Clinton’s mistake.

“You know why I fault them for it? Because Hillary Clinton is not in the White House, because that’s what she did. She picked and she chose,” Lemon told Cuomo. “Donald Trump went on every single news organization. You called him. He figured out a way to come on your show and I think every candidate should do that.”

“You should take advantage of the media, and take advantage of every single platform to get your message out,” he continued.

“I think that that’s a mistake that they’re making: the same mistake that Hillary Clinton made,” he added.

Agree? Does it help them or hurt them (and by them, I mean Democratic candidates) to refuse to participate in town halls hosted by Fox News?
