Nabisco Sparks Outrage by Using Drag Queen to Push Chips Ahoy! Cookies on Mother’s Day

WATCH: Drag Queen delivers a Mothers’ Day message

Yesterday was Mothers’ Day (YIKES! Hope you remembered to call mom!) a day to celebrate the women who birthed us, the women who raised us, and the women who make us the people we are today.

Apparently, that’s wayyyyy too traditional for CHIPS AHOY.

Yup – you heard that right. America’s will-do-in-a-pinch-as-an-icecream-topper cookies are “woke” now.

They used a drag queen to deliver a “special” Mothers’ Day message:

Wait… what?

What was THAT?

Here’s the thing. I don’t have a problem with drag. I’ve been open with that. I think it’s STRICTLY adult entertainment, but I find it entertaining. I used to watch RuPaul’s Drag Race pretty frequently. The transformations are just so impressive.

But this?

Well, the only thing I even remember was they “EEEEOW” at the end, because the rest was an incomprehensible hot mess express.

How does this have ANYTHING to do with cookies?

But let’s break this down, shall we?

“What’s a sweet gesture for you to do to your momma? Your real momma, your drag momma, whichever momma, somebody, whoever take care of you, whoever you feel or consider your momma, it’s their day today.”

Has anyone realized that lately, Social Justice Warriors seem dead set on taking things away from women?

Women’s sports are all won by men.

Women’s restrooms must be all-inclusive. It doesn’t MATTER if little girls feel uncomfortable.

And Mothers’ Day? Well, it’s about dudes in dresses now.

Hmm. Got it.

We have questions:

WOW. This guy just clearly isn’t #Woke enough.

So um, way to go, Chips Ahoy? You’re super progressive and liberated now.
