Pelosi’s Payback: House Speaker Says a ‘Glass of Water’ with a ‘D’ by it’s Name Could Win Ocasio-Cortez’s District

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi isn’t a huge fan of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. While they’re both “progressives,” AOC has done a fantastic job of revealing just how extreme, delusional and insane liberals and their progressive policies truly are. That’s why Pelosi’s annoyed. It’s not necessarily that she disagrees. She and older Democratic colleagues are masters at downplaying the “extreme” aspects of their beliefs. They know that if the American people knew what they TRULY believe, they’d have a much harder time winning national elections.

Enter AOC. She’s not even TRYING to hide it. That’s why Pelosi is annoyed. That’s why she’s trying to dismiss AOC and her extreme friends.

“I do reject socialism as an economic system. If people have that view, that’s their view. That is not the view of the Democratic Party,” Pelosi told Lesley Stahl.

There was also this exchange:

Lesley Stahl: You have these wings– AOC, and her group on one side–

Pelosi: That’s like five people.

Stahl: No, it’s — the progressive group is more than five.

Pelosi: Well, the progressive — I’m a progressive. Yeah.

Oh snap.

It gets worse. And by worse, I mean better.

Pelosi spoke at the London School of Economics and said that a glass of water with a “D” written on it could’ve won AOC’s district.

“When we won this election, it wasn’t in districts like mine or Alexandria’s,” she said. “Those are districts that are solidly Democratic – this glass of whatever would win with a D next to its name in those districts.

She said: ‘I can compare my liberal credentials across the board. I said to them: ”Anything you’re about, I got that sign in my basement 20 years ago”.

‘What we are saying is, to have a message that appeals to people in a way that does not menace them.

‘I share those values – but we must win.’

See? It’s not necessarily that she disagrees. She just doesn’t like the way AOC is presenting the information. Doesn’t she know that you have to deceive the American people?

Eh. She’s only 29. She has years to master the art of misleading. Don’t you worry, Nancy.
