It’s been a while since I’ve been subjected to the indoctrination machine, and I can’t even begin to imagine how bad it is on college campuses now. I graduated only four years ago, but at the time, “safe spaces” still weren’t A Thing. Now? I don’t even want to know what my alma mater looks like, honestly. I think I graduated right before things got really bad. My last semester was hell. They finally had enough of a conservative having a voice on campus, so everyone turned on me. Literally everyone. It sucked, but it taught me so much about liberals and their stunning lack of tolerance. I know about it firsthand. Colleges are nothing more than indoctrination centers at this point, and it’s really sad. Kids take idiotic classes, get idiotic degrees and wonder why they can’t find jobs. This is why.
The University of Kansas is offering a course on “angry white males.” I’m not making this up. The class will reportedly explore “the deeper sources of this emotional state while evaluating recent manifestations of male anger.”
The course is cross-listed under both the Humanities department and the Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies department at KU and is an option to satisfy a Humanities course requirement.
You hear that? That course fulfills a Humanities requirement, which is a mainstream requirement that most students have to meet. How craptastic is that?
Christopher E. Forth, the Dean’s Professor of Humanities and Professor of History at KU, is listed as the course instructor. Forth has considerable history studying masculinities and European cultural history and has “Cultural History, Gender and Sexuality, the Body and the Senses” listed as teaching interests.
Of course he does.
This is just pathetic on so many levels. The course isn’t even trying to hide its intent and bias. This culture is hellbent on the mass emasculation of men. “Progressives” (I use the term loosely) desperately want to diminish the crucial role of masculinity in the public and private sphere. That’s why they are desperately attempting to reduce manhood and describe masculinity as an oppressive trait exhibited by insecure individuals who want to lord over women. It’s disgusting and a patently false characterization.
We have to continue to fight against it. It’s wrong to blur the lines between men and women. We’re different, and God created us that way. Femininity is beautiful, and masculinity is essential.
If they really want to stir the pot, they should offer a course on female conservative anger toward feminists. I will even guest teach for FREE.
