Democrats Are In Full Panic Mode — Pelosi Schedules ‘Emergency Conference Call’ Over Mueller Report

Hannah Bleau

We had a major Friday night news dump with Mueller finishing up his report. The big takeaway?

Mueller’s not recommending any further charges.

Democrats are in full blown panic mode. They have no idea how to handle this. Heck, Joy Reid’s straight up wondering if Mueller’s part of some sort of elaborate cover-up.

They’re desperate.

Meanwhile, Pelosi’s scrambling. Word has it she called an “emergency Caucus conference call” to discuss the Mueller report.

The 3 p.m. call will be led by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Democratic Caucus Chairman Hakeem Jeffries (N.Y.) and members of the committees with jurisdiction over the issue, according to several Democratic aides.

Beyond Pelosi and Jeffries, four other lawmakers will speak on the call, an aide said. Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), chairman of the Judiciary Committee, and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), who heads the Intelligence Committee, both have jurisdiction and are likely to speak.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall.

Live shot of the meeting, probably:
