Usually, Leonardo DiCaprio is pulling stunts like this. He’s typically the raging hypocrite hopping on private jets from Cannes to New York to be honored for loving the earth so much. Yeah– that happened.
Today’s resident hypocrite? Harrison Ford. He showed up to the World Government Summit in Dubai to– wait for it– give a speech on the impending danger of climate change.
Who wants to bet he didn’t swim there?
The 76-year-old star made the headlines at the weekend when he released a video telling viewers that the world’s leaders are running out of time to act.
“Fresh water shortages, higher greenhouse gas emissions, unprecedented fires, worldwide destruction. Is this the world we want?” he said in the video.
Ford wandered the halls of the Madinat Jumeirah complex and was spotted speaking to Dr Thani Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment on Monday morning.
Word has it his speech is titled, “An urgent call to action on climate change.”
