This is cracking me up.
There’s an article in the Jerusalem Post titled, “Is The Key to Middle East Peace Ted Cruz’s Beard?”
I think we all know that the obvious answer is YES.
Wow Ted Cruz also beat Beto at beards pic.twitter.com/y0RheELIxg

He should’ve grown the beard a long time ago. Like, back in 2016. He totally would’ve performed better in the primaries. He’s got those Captain America Nomad vibes.
ANYWAY. Cruz recently tweeted that a good friend of his, who’s studying Yeshiva in Israel, likes his beard. His rabbi even offered the biggest beard compliment ever.
Pretty cool: A good friend is studying in Yeshiva in Israel. His rabbi told him he liked my beard, elaborating “It gives Cruz a Talmudic & Rabbinic look & presence that will put the fear of the Lord into Israel’s enemies & promote Middle East peace.” Wow. Perhaps a bit much….

You have no idea how much I love that. It’s a beard that will “put the fear of the Lord into Israel’s enemies.” I mean, I can’t think of a better compliment than that.
I fully support Cruz’s Nomad look. That is one thing everyone– across all political spectrums– should agree on. He’s better with a beard. If it just so happens to promote peace in the Middle East– bonus!
