Bryan Cranston– AKA Heisenberg– plays a quadriplegic in his new movie “The Upside.” For reasons completely beyond me, he’s been forced to explain that “controversial” decision.
He quite literally had to explain the role of an actor. You PLAY PEOPLE WHO ARE DIFFERENT THAN YOU.
“We live in the world of criticism, if we’re willing to get up and try something, we have to also be willing to take criticism,” he said, according to Sky News. “We’re very aware of the need to expand the opportunities for people with disabilities.”
He said the role really “came down to a business decision.”
“As actors, we’re asked to be other people, to play other people. If I, as a straight, older person, and I’m wealthy, I’m very fortunate, does that mean I can’t play a person who is not wealthy, does that mean I can’t play a homosexual?” he asked.
“I don’t know, where does the restriction apply, where is the line for that? I think it is worthy for debate to discuss,” he added.
Oh boy. It sounds like he’s rocking the SJW boat a bit!
Look at this. Just LOOK at this. That’s happening today. pic.twitter.com/TqNvZV99IO

He literally had to defend portraying a character based on the story of a REAL LIFE PERSON?

Yup. That is correct.
SJWs continue to top themselves.
