As I mentioned, Sarah Palin was basically told to STAY AWAY from McCain’s memorial.
According to this:
…“Donald Trump and Sarah Palin were not served official notice outright,” says the source close to the McCain family. “I want to make that clear. It wasn’t a no-trespass order. They won’t be turned away by guards if they show up at the funeral.”
The stay-away messages were sent through intermediaries, the friend tells PEOPLE.
The messages were received, sources say.”
I think it’s kind of sad. She remained loyal and friendly to him until the end. Even when he revealed that he regretted choosing her as a running mate, she behaved herself with class and dignity, saying she still valued him and their time together.
Her words about his recent death were also friendly and measured:
Today we lost an American original. Sen. John McCain was a maverick and a fighter, never afraid to stand for his beliefs. John never took the easy path in life – and through sacrifice and suffering he inspired others to serve something greater than self.

John McCain was my friend. I will remember the good times. My family and I send prayers for Cindy and the McCain family.

Oh yes- you should totally meet! Invite her on the new show! She has so many important things to bring to the table! 🙄
— Nicole Meade (@nicole_meade) August 30, 2018
Nicole must be INCREDIBLY accomplished to discount the fact that this woman was the governor of a state and the first female VP candidate for the GOP. That’s HUGE.
But I guess only liberal women can bring “important things” to the table, right?
Girl.

EMPOWERED WOMEN EMPOWER WOMEN!
Liberals aren’t great at that, huh?
NOTE: An earlier version of this post mistakenly listed Palin as the first major party VP nominee. It has been adjusted to reflect that she is the first GOP VP nominee.
