Ted Cruz Kinda Sorta Asks For Trump’s Help

We’ve come so far from the “Lyin’ Ted” days. That’s for sure.

For those who don’t know, Ted Cruz is running against anti-gun lib Beto O’Rourke. Cruz is up in the polls, but not up ENOUGH.

It’s Texas. This shouldn’t even be CLOSE, although I’m sure the polls will shift as we get closer. They always do.

Trump has said in the past that he would spend time on the campaign trail, helping Republicans. It looks like Cruz is down. He said he’d love to see Trump helping him in Texas.

“I would certainly welcome his support, and I hope to see him in Texas,” Cruz said, according to the Houston Chronicle. “I think we are likely to see the president down in Texas before the election.”

Even though they had a rocky relationship two years ago, the two have been building a mutual friendship for the sake of the country.

“We’re talking to the White House every week, sometimes every day,” Cruz said. “I’ve been proud to lead the effort to bring Republicans together.”

Does this mean we’ll see Trump in Texas soon? I wouldn’t rule it out. After all, he seems pretty confident in his ability to sway voters.

If he believes Cruz is in jeopardy, he’ll definitely make a stop. I’m sure of it.
