This just in. New York’s Republican US Rep. Chris Collins has been arrested on insider trading charges. He surrendered to the FBI this morning.
Collins, 68, faces insider trading charges along with his son, Cameron Collins, and Stephen Zarsky, the father of Cameron Collins’ fiancée, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York.
The case is related to Innate Immunotherapeutics, an Australian biotech company, on which the elder Collins served on the board.
The insider trading part should be the headline of this story across the board, but it’s not. #Resisters seem to care more about the fact that Collins backed Trump.

Did Trump hire anybody who wasn’t corrupt?

One of Donald Trump’s earliest Republican supporters, Rep. Chris Collins, was just arrested by the FBI for insider trading. It’s almost as if everyone associated with Trump is a criminal or something 😆

I wish I could say I’m surprised by this, but I’m not. A LOT of them operate this way. Some are just better at getting away with it.
