As many of you have probably heard, the MSM launched what seems like a coordinated censorship of Alex Jones and his InfoWars outlet.
I have been clear that I am personally not a fan of Alex Jones’. But yes… I find this concerning. First Alex Jones… then who? Ben Shapiro?
Ben doesn’t care for Jones either. He too thinks this is a problem.
.@BenShapiro explains why despite the fact that he disagrees with Alex Jones, censoring his content is a bad idea.

Now there have been hundreds, if not THOUSANDS of people saying that the idea that “banning Alex Jones” is a slippery slope is a ludicrous one.
“OMG SLIPPERY SLOPE ARGUMENTS ARE SOOO STUPID. IF YOU GET BANNED IT’S ONLY BECAUSE YOU’RE AN EVIL NAZI THAT DESERVES IT. Y’ALL ARE PARANOID.”
“banning alex jones from twitter would be a slippery slope! if they did that next they would have to start banning nazis!”
hey everyone who wants to go sledding down this cool hill

it's so funny when people talk about banning alex jones will lead to a 'slippery slope' of banning marginalized voices as if outlets weren't banning the marginalized voices already while letting white supremacist abusers do whatever they want
— Colin Spacetwinks (@spacetwinks) August 7, 2018
Alex Jones is not the slippery slope you're looking for, my dudes.
— Jeff B. (@EsotericCD) August 7, 2018
*Correction* Earlier today I tweeted something about being careful of slippery slopes & free speech b/c of Alex Jones’ banning from various platforms. In hindsight this is nowhere near the slippery slope and I was wrong to make the analogy. Fuck Alex jones.

ARE we paranoid, though?
Vox just made sure to let us know that we're TOTALLY not. Not even a little bit. This is oooonly the beginning, if the left gets their way.
It's not just Alex Jones: YouTube's most extreme creators are pushing the platform into a tough debate and censorship and free speech on the internet. pic.twitter.com/ZhG8BRLfOT

You hear that?
Anything they don't like? BANNED.
Candace Owens, Paul Joseph Watson, Lauren Southern, EVERYONE on CRTV...
THEY ALL NEED TO BE BANNED.
THE INTERNET SHOULD ONLY EXIST FOR LEFTIST PERSONALITIES AND KITTEN VIDEOS.
Got it, Vox.
Thanks for letting us know we need to put our guards up now, more than ever. Thanks for reminding all of us who want ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO with Alex Jones why we need to stand up for him right now.
It took less than a day before it became “It’s not just Alex Jones...” https://t.co/m3rMeNlrRv

You know, there were a bunch of people, including me, that were like "Hey, banning Alex Jones from these platforms isn't a slippery slope."
Then Vox had to overreach. https://t.co/L06aZ2JD0S

Way to admit you were wrong, buddy. I know it hurts.
It didn't take long for the authoritarian left to move the bar. Sooner or later everyone isn't of the left will be declared unacceptable by the left. https://t.co/uEqAvzvbh3

Don't say we didn't warn you.
