I told you about how Ivana (Trump’s first wife, and Eric, Donald Jr., and Ivanka’s mom) went on Good Morning America to push her new book.
During the interview she said she was sort of kind of the “real” first lady, and it was awkward.
Anywhoooooo, Melania responded, and it’s right on target.

A lot of the people in the comments were quick to defend Ivana’s comments and call ME out for writing the initial post….
…but if it was all in good fun, and I’M the one making it awkward, would Melania have responded like this?
Didn’t think so.
Ivana Trump claimed in an interview that aired Monday on “Good Morning America” that she was “first lady.”
“I have the direct number to White House, but I no really want to call him there because Melania is there,” Ivana Trump said.
“I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that,” she continued, “because I’m basically first Trump wife. I’m first lady, OK?”
Ivana Trump is promoting her book, “Raising Trump,” set to be released Tuesday. The book documents her marriage to the future president and raising their three children — Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric.
The pair married in 1977 and divorced in the early 1990s, when it was revealed Donald Trump was having an affair with his future second wife, Marla Maples.
Donald and Melania Trump have been married since 2005.
Yeah, it’s awk.
