Zuhdi Jasser Defends Ted Cruz’s ‘Proactive Policing In Muslim Neighborhoods’ Proposal

Hannah Bleau

On Wednesday, Barack Obama took a break from chilling with a murderous dictator and doing the tango to criticize Ted Cruz for proposing that we amp up police presence in Muslim neighborhoods.

“We need to empower law enforcement to patrol and secure Muslim neighborhoods before they become radicalized,” the Cruz campaign said.

Cruz called the common sense proposal “proactive policing,” which is basically a fancy term for “keep a eye on areas you KNOW are prone to violence/crime/terrorism.”

But Obama said that’s “contrary to our values,” and makes us totally like Cuba. (Weird that he used that as an insult. I thought he loved Cuba. We’re like “two brothers who’ve been estranged for many years,” right?)
