Carrie Fisher Has Something To Say About Disney Banning ‘Slave Leia’ From Their Star Wars Merchandise

Miss CJ

Remember when Disney proclaimed that Princess Leia’s gold bikini was too sexist, misogynist, racy and gave fifteen-year-old boys nosebleeds (or whatever) and then they decided that they wouldn’t sell “Slave Leia” merchandise anymore? Because they’re stupid or something.

Someone asked Carrie Fisher (you know, the actress who played Princess Leia back in the day and is reprising her role for The Force Awakens) what she thought about it. And I’m just gonna let Carrie Fisher talk here because it is EPIC –

There’s been some debate recently about whether there should be no more merchandise with you in the “Return of the Jedi” bikini.

I think that’s stupid.

To stop making the merchandise?

The father who flipped out about it, “What am I going to tell my kid about why she’s in that outfit?” Tell them that a giant slug captured me and forced me to wear that stupid outfit, and then I killed him because I didn’t like it. And then I took it off. Backstage.

All I can say is THANK YOU Carrie! Finally SOMEBODY’S saying it!

If a Hollywood liberal like Carrie Fisher calls some social justice bullcrap thing stupid, you KNOW it’s completely ridiculous.
