Republican Silenced By Democrat During Meeting And Has His Microphone Taken Away…Because California.

Democratic chair of the Assembly Labor and Employment committee, Rodger Hernandez, thinks he's the crap, y'all.  Take a whiff.  I mean, just look at his face.  He's right there, above.  You can just smell the smug, can't you?

Anywho, after watching the video below, I'm expecting him to order people to start bringing him grapes and fanning him at the next meeting, because WOW.  Dude has a MAJOR king-of-my-little-castle complex.

To set up the scene here, this craziness happened during a debate over "legislation that would increase the Golden State’s minimum wage to $11 in 2016 and $13 in 2017. The current minimum wage is $9 an hour and is set to already rise to $10 an hour next year."

Matthew Harper, who is a Republican, said that Hernandez "cut off a witness testifying mid-sentence."  And that's pretty believable, given the video.

"When Harper, who Hernández had already recognized as the next speaker, began to testify, he too was cut off."

Harper made a statement about what a free-speech-hating jackhole Hernandez is:

“Blocking discussion in this manner is unfair, undemocratic and soils the decorum of the Assembly. I was sent here to represent the concerns of the voters of my district and chairman Hernández shut down my ability to speak for who I represent.”

Yep.  That's about right.

Rodger Hernandez?  You get the COTR Jackwad O' The Day! (California Edition)  Congratulations.
