According to that sourcelink, a new study out of Germany further destroys the “97 percent” climate change consensus (which has already been debunked). It probably doesn't help that “scientists” continually fudge climate numbers to try to push their stupid carbon taxes. Because without it we’ll all die OMG.
Turns out the atmosphere may not be as fragile as liberals wish. The new study shows that the atmosphere may be less sensitive to carbon dioxide emissions, which means their efforts to reduce those are complete crap because IT DOESN’T MAKE A FREAKING DIFFERENCE.
A study by scientists at Germany’s Max Planck Institute for Meteorology found that man-made aerosols had a much smaller cooling effect on the atmosphere during the 20th Century than was previously thought. Why is this big news? It means increases in carbon dioxide emissions likely cause less warming than most climate models suggest.
What do aerosols have to do with anything? Well, aerosols are created from human activities like burning coal, driving cars or from fires. There are also natural aerosols like clouds and fog. Aerosols tend to reflect solar energy back into space, giving them a cooling effect that somewhat offsets warming from increased CO2 emissions.
But that’s the beauty of being a liberal. You totally get to ignore facts and make stuff up as you go along.
Facts are pesky things! Which is why on Tuesday, Obama submitted his plan to cut carbon dioxide emissions to the U.N. But there’s a minor problem. It won’t do squat.
Obama’s carbon dioxide reduction plan commits the U.S. to 26 to 28 percent below 2005 levels by 2025 — a promise he made last year to secure a pledge from China to reduce its own emissions.
But Obama’s plan will only avert 0.001 degrees Celsius of global temperature rises a year, according to climate scientist Chip Knappenberger with the libertarian Cato Institute.
LOL. Only 0.001 degrees Celsius a year. But hey, at least he looks like a good person. I mean, he didn’t win that Nobel Peace Prize for nothing!
When it comes to global warming activists, I love what Ted Cruz had to say about it. He summed it up best when he told Seth Meyers, “Debates on this should follow science and should follow data. And many of the alarmists on global warming, they’ve got a problem because the science doesn’t back them up.”
