Tourist Visiting White House Taken Away On A Stretcher

I’ve only been to the White House once. I went during my time as an intern for The Daily Caller. I didn’t really get a White House “tour” or anything. Another intern and I went to Jay Carney’s second White House press briefing. I was so excited and such a dork.

That’s somethin’ else, right?

Believe it or not, I actually HATED being there. I think that’s when I realized I wasn’t meant to be a “mainstream DC ‘journalist.'” I know this will sound bizarre to some of you, but at the time, God told me that he called me to be on the outside, and I haven’t questioned it since. I was just supposed to be there for that time period. It gave me a better perspective on how the industry operates within the bubble. I’m SO grateful for that experience, but I’m SO grateful things worked out the way they did. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be friends with the Chicks and talking to you guys every day. I probably would’ve been fired by now for using the word seahag, TBH.

ALL THAT BEING SAID. I would absolutely LOVE to go on a White House tour someday. It’s on my bucket list.

There was actually a tour going on today, but it didn’t end so well. Apparently, an ambulance was called. An older man was taken out on a stretcher. Word has it he slipped, fell and bumped his head.

Poor guy!

A tourist injured himself at the White House this morning. He was taken out in a stretcher and treated in an ambulance. We saw him sitting up and being responsive so it appears he's being taken care of.

It sounds like he’s OK, but whew. An ambulance at the White House? That’s something you never really want to see.

I’m serious about going on a White House tour, though. I want to make that happen while Trump is still in office.
