Democrats Sent Over 1,200 Questions To Brett Kavanaugh

Never mind that they have more documents on Brett Kavanaugh than the last– what?– five SCOTUS nominees combined? 900,000 pages of records? Not enough! I AM SPARTACUS!

Democratic lawmakers decided to send Brett Kavanaugh an additional 1,278 questions, because clearly he’s still a complete mystery to them. Republican lawmakers say it’s all part of their effort to delay his confirmation, and it’s OBVIOUS that’s the case. This is 4 times more questions than they sent to Gorsuch, and “more than the total the Senate as a whole asked of Justice Elena Kagan and Justice Sonia Sotomayor, President Obama’s court picks.”

Dianne Feinstein asked 241 questions alone. So to those who say she’s not as bad as the rest? She is.

“Submitting this many written questions appears to be just one more effort to gum up the process. It’s unnecessary and dilatory, especially when many have already decided to vote against Judge Kavanaugh. What more do they need to know to vote ‘no’?” Sen. Grassley said.

Nominees are usually given a week to answer the written questions, which are supposed to be clarifications and follow-ups to the questions the judge answered in person during last week’s confirmation hearing.

Of the 1,287 questions submitted, the GOP asked just nine total — eight from Mr. Grassley and one from Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona.

They’re just wasting his time. This is a game to them. They’re all Spartacus.
