September 3, 2018Jeff Sessions– your days as Attorney General are numbered. That much is certain.
President Trump has made it pretty clear that Sessions is NOT his favorite person. However, he’s keeping him around until the midterm elections are over.
“I just would love to have him do a great job,” Trump told Bloomberg News.
Asked if he’d keep Sessions beyond November, he declined to comment. “I’d love to have him look at the other side,” he said, reiterating calls for Sessions’s Justice Department to investigate Democrat Hillary Clinton and the origins of the Russia probe.
“I do question what is Jeff doing,” Trump said.
I understand his frustration. I really do, but Monday afternoon’s tweets aren’t exactly helping his case.
Two long running, Obama era, investigations of two very popular Republican Congressmen were brought to a well publicized charge, just ahead of the Mid-Terms, by the Jeff Sessions Justice Department. Two easy wins now in doubt because there is not enough time. Good job Jeff……

Um…Trump… Criminal behavior is criminal behavior, and we should condemn it and celebrate JUSTICE, REGARDLESS of how it affects us in the midterms. It’s fine to feel frustrated about the timing, but in the VERY least, keep that frustration to yourself, because this is not a good look. That attitude makes us no better than corrupt Democrats. What do you want? Another Loretta Lynch? I mean, seriously dude…THINK THIS THROUGH.

He’s not wrong about any of that. Dems love people who hate Trump and hate people who love Trump. That doesn’t excuse the sheer stupidity of his first tweet, though.
