Federal Judge Issues Temporary Restraining Order, Stopping The Release Of Downloadable Blueprints For 3D Guns

Everyone’s been freaking out over the whole 3D gun thing. If you haven’t read this fantastic thread on it, you really should.

The entire debate even caught President Trump’s attention.

Well guys, it looks like this entire thing is paused until further notice. A federal judge has issued a temporary restraining order, which essentially stops the release of the downloadable blueprints for the guns.

U.S. District Judge Robert Lasnik issued the order a day after eight states sued the government to block a settlement reached by the Trump administration last month allowing a Texas-based company, Defense Distributed, to resume online-sharing of blueprints for the 3D firearms.
