July 31, 2018I love love love love LOVE all the videos that various police departments around the country are posting of their officers lip syncing to popular music. There’s been a ton of them, and it’s just so great to see cops letting loose, showing the world that they’re not the evil racist tyrants that so many people in the media want to paint them as, and just being…you know…people.
I don’t think this kind of positive press was really planned for or anticipated – it just sorta happened. And the more police departments take up the challenge, the better. What a great way to bond with their communities!
I’ve loved them all, but this one from the Columbus, Indiana police department is my favorite so far. I love the Tony Stewart cameo! And the Friends bit at the end? DARLING.
