July 10, 2018George Clooney was trending on Twitter this morning, and I immediately assumed he said something awful about President Trump.
Nope. Not this time. Clooney was actually in a scooter accident in Sardinia.
George Clooney is recovering after another vehicle cut him off while he was riding his scooter — and the accident was bad enough an ambulance had to rush him to a hospital.
George was riding Tuesday morning on the Italian island of Sardinia when a Mercedes-Benz sedan turned in front of him and hit him. He was knocked clean off the scooter, and left sprawled out on the road. The driver of the Benz stopped and called for assistance.
According to reports, Clooney has some bruises on his arm, leg and pelvis, but he’s been discharged from the hospital and is expected to be OK.

George Clooney has been released from an Italian hospital after being thrown over the top of his scooter when he was hit by a vehicle while in Olbia on the island of Sardinia.
