We said it all throughout the election. It didn’t matter if you didn’t like Trump’s personality. When it came down to it, you had to think about the integrity of the Supreme Court. We absolutely could NOT have Hillary Clinton as POTUS. The liberal justices she would’ve appointed would’ve compromised the integrity of the Supreme Court for years to come.
Thank God we dodged that bullet.
All that being said, thank God for Trump. We have Gorsuch, and now Trump gets to appoint someone else to replace Kennedy.
Trump said he wants the process to begin as soon as possible.

McConnell says the Senate WILL vote on the nominee this fall.
“The Senate stands ready to fulfill it’s constitutional role by offering advice and consent on President Trump’s nominee to fill this vacancy,” McConnell said. “We will vote to confirm Justice Kennedy’s successor this fall.”
“It’s imperative that the president’s nominee be considered fairly and not subjected to personal attacks,” he added.
Suck it, Schumer.
