Eric Adams Says Illegal Immigrants are “Excellent Swimmers” And Could Fill The City’s Lifeguard Shortage

I thought this was a Babylon Bee headline. I was wrong. This is a real life thing that Mayor Eric Adams said and I cannot stop laughing. This is the most ridiculous thing I have heard…at least today. Eric Adams literally said that migrants could be hired as lifeguards to fill NYC’s lifeguard shortage because they are “excellent swimmers.”

It almost makes it worse to hear it said out loud. But also, I literally cannot stop laughing at this. The fact that he said this out loud is insane and hilarious. This man literally said, “We have all these eligible people waiting to work, with the skills we need to do the jobs, but we are unable to allow them to work because bureaucracy is in the way.” First of all, “the skills we need,” LOL. Secondly, they’re ILLEGALS, so yeah, they shouldn’t have jobs handed to them. No matter how good they are at swimming across the Rio Grande. Thirdly, stop talking. It’s not doing you any favors, dude. But hey man, thanks for the laugh.
