President Trump Isn’t Sure If The June 12th Meeting With Kim Jong-Un Will Happen

President Trump is currently meeting with South Korea’s President Moon at the White House, and they briefly answered a bunch of questions from the press. The biggest takeaway? Trump said he’s not entirely sure if the June 12th meeting with Kim Jong-un will move happen.

“I do think he is serious. I think he is absolutely very serious,” Trump said, referring to North Korea’s talks of denuclearization.

“It may not work out for June 12,” Trump said. “If it doesn’t happen, maybe it will happen later.”

“Frankly it has a chance to be a great, great meeting for North Korea and a great meeting for the world,” Trump continued. “You never know about deals…I’ve made a lot of deals. You never really know.”

However, Moon’s national security adviser, Chung Eui-yong, said there’s a 99.9 percent chance the meeting will take place, so yay?

“We believe there is a 99.9 percent chance the North Korea-U.S. summit will be held as scheduled,” he stated. “But we’re just preparing for many different possibilities.”

Anything can happen.

It also sounds like Trump isn’t too happy with Noko’s second meeting with the Chinese. That’s kind of when North Korea started acting squirrely again.

I like how Trump’s maintaining his position. He wants a deal, but he’s not going to force this meeting to happen, and he’s not going to accept a crappy deal for the United States.

We shall see…
