No, no, NOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I can already tell you that I’m not going to like most– if not all– of the Democratic candidates running in 2020, because I fundamentally disagree with the left’s entire platform. More government, less freedom. No thanks. Hard pass.
But man, this is crappy news. Former AG Eric Holder is hinting at a 2020 run.
“I think I’ll make a decision by the end of the year about whether or not there’s another chapter,” Mr. Holder said at a breakfast sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor.
Mr. Holder is currently fundraising and flexing his political muscles by running former President Barack Obama’s chief political operation, the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, to try to put their party in better shape ahead of the redrawing of political maps after the 2020 census.
Asked if those were a prelude to running for office, he said “We’ll see.” Pressed again on whether that meant a presidential bid, he again said, “We’ll see.”
Ugh. No. Although I can’t help but wonder if this would end up being an extremely entertaining disaster.
Former AG Eric Holder told reporters this morning at a @csmonitor breakfast that he is considering a run for office. President? "We'll see," he said. Will decide by the end of this year.
