Seth Meyers Delivered A Bunch Of Weinstein Jokes And People Weren’t Sure How To Handle It

Seth Meyers promised a politically charged event, and he wasn’t kidding. It’s crawling with hypocritical feminists. They’re everywhere.

With this being the first major event since the Weinstein scandal, I knew there would be some degree of that. But boy, they aren’t even trying to beat around the bush. Seth Meyers went for it. No hesitation.

“Good evening ladies and remaining gentlemen,” he said during his opening monologue.

“Harvey Weinstein isn’t here tonight because I’ve heard rumors that he’s crazy and difficult to work with,” he joked.

Uh, that’s one way to put it.

He kept on delivering jokes about Hollywood’s sexual assault problems, and it got a little awkward.

“A lot of people thought it would be more appropriate for a woman to host tonight’s show, and they might be right, but if it makes you feel any better I have absolutely no power in Hollywood,” Meyers said.

Hahahaha????? Are they laughing? Are we supposed to laugh? How do I feminist here?!

Also, there was a Kevin Spacey joke.
