Here’s A Little Joy In The Midst Of All the Crazy

I think we can all agree that this week has been nothing short of a major suck-fest. Between the shooting, the victimization of the Trans freak that murdered 6 people in cold blood, and now with the Trump drama, we need a little heartwarming in our lives.
Yesterday was the MLB’s Opening Day. St. Louis Cardinal’s Adam Wainwright kicked off his eighteenth, and final season, by singing the National Anthem ahead of the game. Hearing this man sing our Nation’s Anthem and seeing everyone on their feet cheering him on made my heart swell.

Happy that he sang it straight and well. Happy that the players showed respect. Not so happy that there were very few in the stands with their hand over their heart.
