Washington Commanders’ New Mascot Is A Pudgy Pig In A Helmet Named “Major Tuddy”

I’m a KC Chiefs fan personally, and I hope they don’t do us dirty like they did any Redskins fans out there. (Are there people who are fans of the Redskins?) After changing the name of their team to the “Washington Commanders” in order to be more politically correct, they’ve now revealed their mascot. I’m so sorry to inform you that it is a pudgy pig in a helmet with a toothy grin. His name is Major Tuddy. Seriously.

How many months and millions of dollars did they have to come up with a mascot and they decided on a fat pig in a helmet? That was the best they could do? Y’all, their big announcement was that “He’s kind of a pig deal.” Seriously?!

They decided on a “hog” as a nod to the famous offensive lines of the 80s and 90s who were called the “Hogs.” But some of those guys aren’t feeling flattered by the nod. They’re so mad about it, in fact, that they’re suing the Washington Commanders. According to Outkick, after their football days, “several former Hogs formed an LLC called O-Line Entertainment. They’ve accused the team of trying to capitalize and profit on their nickname and accomplishments.”

Washington Commanders – better known as “The Commies.”

I used to be a Redskins fan. I am decidedly not a “Commanders” fan. Basically, my favorite team now is whoever is playing Dallas.

As for this new mascot, just wow. There are no words…

I have to wonder how a fat pig passed the Woke litmus test. Shrug. Cue the cries of “racism” or some other objection in 3, 2, 1.

Body positivity? (you know it’s good when spellcheck doesn’t recognize “positivity”)
