The Backlash Against Lena Continues! Called A ‘Racist Hipster’

I mentioned yesterday that the left is turning against the herpes wart known as Lena Dunham.

Even her writers are turning against her. It’s delicious to watch libs turn against their own.

Well…. now it’s about race. (as is EVERY liberal catfight)

According to this:

Zinzi Clemmons, who writes for Lenny Letter – a newsletter Dunham runs with Jenni Konner – said in a post on Twitter on Sunday she could no longer work for the outlet because of Dunham’s alleged disrespect for women of color.

Clemmons referred to actress Aurora Perrineau’s accusation of rape by ‘Girls’ writer Murray Miller in 2012 when she was just 17. Dunham and Konner originally came to Miller’s defense on Friday.

‘It is time for women of color – black women in particular – to divest from Lena Dunham,’ Clemmons wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
‘She cannot have our words if she cannot respect us’.

Zinzi also wrote the following open letter:

Clemmons said she ‘ran in the same circles’ as Dunham and ‘Girls’ star Jemima Kirke while all three women attended Brown University in the mid-2000s.

She said Dunham and the women in her circle – whom she referred to as ‘wealthy, with parents who are influential in the art world’ – were notorious at the time for ‘their well-known racism’.
‘I’d call their strain ‘hipster racism’, which typically uses sarcasm as a cover, and in the end, it looks a lot like gaslighting–“It’s just a joke. Why are you overreacting?” Clemmons wrote.

She claimed that one woman in the group was ‘known to use the N word in conversation in order to be provocative, and if she was ever called on it, she would say “It’s just a joke”. I was often in the same room with her, but I never spoke to her, only watched her from far in anxiety and horror.’

None of this is particularly surprising to me.

I also don’t really care. Some rich little brats used the n-word because they loved the ‘shock value’ of it…. it’s nothing but pathetic. So, so pathetic.  I knew girls like this in college. Girls so ‘woke’ and so ’empowered’ and so ‘scandalous’ they could do no wrong…. the were entirely VOMIT worthy.

Dunham has apologized for automatically defending her friend when faced with sexual abuse allegations… but for many, it’s too little too late.

Here’s the thing…

She’s right…. not everyone who is being accused is guilty. But this is Lena’s fault to begin with! This is ENTIRELY on Lena and people like Lena who have screamed about rape culture and all men being rapists and all women getting raped and rape rape rape rape for the past DECADE.

NOW that the culture SHE has created is negatively affecting those she loves, she tells us to reel it in?!
