AOC says stupid things constantly. It’s kind of her MO, if we’re being honest; that, or lying. And then lying about lying. And saying more stupid things in response to being called out for lying.
The point is, she’s a dumdum. There’s no news there. But with a growing movement for her to run for the 2024 presidential election, I think it’s valuable to revisit some of her best (well, worst) moments. Also, I’m frankly still mad about this one and have some feelings I want to get off my chest.
Remember this one?
“There's a lot of people more concerned about being precisely, factually, and semantically correct than about being morally right,” @AOC says in response to criticism that she’s made factual errors. https://t.co/sKf3sHl9F6 pic.twitter.com/xKc2eB7GEk

[sigh] I can’t believe this needs saying, but YOU CAN’T BE MORALLY RIGHT IF YOUR FACTUAL BASIS IS NOT ACTUALLY FACTUAL.
Imagine I heard that Republican lawmakers were actively drowning puppies in their basements. The morally right thing would be to annihilate them and rescue the puppies, right? But oh, no, turns out that was a false tip, and there are, in fact, no Republican lawmakers drowning puppies. Now you’re just a mass murderer. Because your moral argument was founded on false information.
If all AOC was guilty of was mixing up a number here or there, that would be fair enough– a person who drowns one puppy is as deserving of annihilation as a person who drowns ten. (I don’t make the rules.) But we all know she’s far “sloppier” than that. From totally misunderstanding basic numbers to fabricating complete works of fiction— and then doubling down on these absolute whoppers– she has demonstrated that she is utterly incapable of telling, let alone recognizing, the truth.
Worse, she doesn’t consider that a problem.

I don’t call her, “Airhead Occupying-Congress”, (AO-C) for nothing!
The hysterical earthworm is probably doing her best. They don’t have proper eyes, you know.
Comments like this really make me miss the “like” buttons we used to have. Spot on, Sarah, and brilliant! 🙂
It isn’t about facts with Xandi’s crowd. It is about feelings. And if she THINKS for FEELS something SHOULD be true, then in her mind, even if it isn’t, it is, or, at least, it COULD be. THAT is what is important. That somewhere, out there, beneath the pale moon sky, someone, is possibly making what she feels, actual and factual.
Come now, you know that leftists don’t think, they feeeel! Some of them regard themselves as being smarter than the rest of us, they see no reason to think. Pieces of work, the lot of them!
