July 21, 2022This morning, fully vaxxed and twice boosted Joe Biden tested positive for the Rona, just one day after visiting Massachusetts to talk about climate change. I wonder if climate changed caused him to get ill or if everything is still Putin’s fault?
The press secretary has released a statement: “Consistent with White House protocol for positive COVID cases, which goes above and beyond CDC guidance, he will continue to work in isolation until he tests negative. Once he tests negative, he will return to in-person work.”
Now, I’m not a gambling woman, but I’d be willing to bet my favorite pair of heels that despite his “mild symptoms” it will be a while before Joe tests negative and comes out of isolation. He seems to be working in isolation the majority of time anyway, but now that he has a reason? Yeah, we won’t see him.
They do promise, for the sake of transparency, they will check in with him daily for an update. Though, unless there is a teleprompter in whatever room he’s holed up in, I don’t know how much we will hear from the big man himself.
In the meantime, he is available by phone and by Zoom. He currently has an in-person meeting scheduled with Alberto Fernández, president of Argentina, on Tuesday July 26th. That’s when we will truly know if basement Joe plans to return to the spotlight and his normal tasks of walking off of planes confused about his whereabouts and getting lost in the bushes of the White House lawn. I, for one, can’t say I’ll miss him much while he’s unavailable. Sayonara!

I thought he had a plan a couple of years ago to shut down the virus?
Right?… four jabs and he still gets it? Early in his presidency he said that if you got the shot you couldn’t get COVID. ‘Guess no one told the virus.
I think his plan was to think of a plan. It’s a work in progress.
