WTF has happened to the grown-ups in the room?

I have no idea who that mother is, how many kids she has, what her personal situation is.  None of that matters.  What matters is that she legit doesn’t seem to understand that SHE IS THE PROBLEM here.  The fact that her child is screaming at another adult to “Shut the f*ck up” and that woman doesn’t even flinch.

OMG.

The fact that she believes there are only two choices here – that she can either hit her kid or allow that little monster to continue to misbehave that way, is a whole other problem.

The kid’s future path is already set.  That child will grow up to be a criminal, an abuser, or at the very least, and absolute nuisance/parasite to society. You don’t need to be a psychic to see exactly what the future holds for him.

There are a whole lotta people who have no business being parents, and that worthless hag of a woman is one of them.
