According to the sourcelink, a calendar developed by Hendrik Pohler in Germany, has just had its 5th annual edition released. It’s unique in that it’s a bunch of very scantily clad or even naked models posing with carp, and inexplicably, it is wildly popular. Because of pictures like this one:
And listen you guys – it’s quite an undertaking to put this calendar together. Hendrik says it took him 8 whole weeks to assemble the latest 2018 edition, what with all the carp-catching and model-getting he had to do.
The calendar became a big hit in his home country of Germany, but now? His largest customer base comes from right here in the US. Because obviously we need to win that contest.
His reason for starting the calendar is simple.
“I sell fishing equipment for carp anglers, that was one of my intentions for creating the calendar. The other is, why not combine the two best things in the world, beautiful carps and nice girls.”
